The Origins
The story of Wellputt began with a blend of passion, family inspiration, and innovation. Founder Boris Pansart, a dedicated golfer with national-level experience in France, found unexpected inspiration at home when his daughter Elora playfully drew on the carpet with chalk. Her designs sparked an idea: combining precision and speed training—two key elements of putting—into a practical tool. At the time, Boris was also the CEO of a Paris-based communication agency and used his design team’s skills, along with his golf expertise, to develop the first Wellputt putting mat. Founded in 2010 Wellputt has been designing premium putting mats, training aids, putting surfaces, and putting platforms, combining design, biomechanics, and technology to mimic real green conditions.
Since its inception, Wellputt has worked closely with top instructors, including Cameron McCormick, PGA Coach of the Year 2015, to develop products that meet the highest standards of performance and precision.
